Holy Cross School – A community that serves others
Class level service projects include:
- Smile Train
- Bags and Tags
- Pennies for Peace: building schools in Afghanistan
- Life Lab food to St. Francis Soup Kitchen
- Required individual service in the middle school (In 2008-09 Eighth Grade Students served 85 hour of service in the Santa Cruz Community)
Schoolwide service projects include:
- Cookies for Courage-September 11th to honor Police, Fire and Emergency Workers
- Recycle ink cartridges
- Recycle batteries
- St. Vincent de Paul Society
- Coats and Shoes for Kids
- Operation Rice Bowl
- Zero Waste
- Bike to School Days
- Quarterly outreach service and charity projects
